The RICS announced via email to all users on the 9th of June that it will be closing down its longstanding Homebuyer and Building Survey report production software platform as of 31st January 2021.
The alternative they are offering will be an improved version of the old school ProForms platform which has always been available for free to all RICS members and it was confirmed this will continue to be free, which is an improvement on the £3 per report that the ISURV Worksmart platform costs.
We will have to wait and see what the new improvements for the new version of ProForms but hopefully it will include a way to bulk import standard company phrases, pre-fill surveyor company details and allow multi user access without any corruption to reports. At the moment Proforms only offers the ability to produce RICS Condition Reports and RICS HomeBuyer Reports, not the building surveys.
